With over 20 years of Playing and Teaching experience Charmaine Summers has developed the art of teaching golf into a comprehensive and fun experience. With the development of her women’s league which is designed to help beginners to intermediate players in a non-stress situation. “The ladies club is designed for a comfortable learning environment, not a strict organization with strict operating rules,” “remember golf is fun”
Her Junior Program has developed into a well-structured learning experience for all Juniors. With emphasis on learning the basics of swing, rules, fundamentals, simplicity and safety all in mind.
Charmaine was an all American Athlete. She grew up in Tustin, California and played every sport a girl could play from grade school thru college. Charmaine has played golf since she was 9 years old. Her first lesson was with Sandy Beldon at Santiago Executive Golf Course in Orange. The experience led her to the beginning of many accomplishments. She became club champion at Rancho San Joaquin women’s league in 1975, played in many amateur events including L.A. Open, Long Beach Open, Santa Barbara Open, Pub links Championships and The Pebble Beach Pro/Am. Charmaine played on the Pro western Mini tour, where she saw her greatest potential in women’s golf. Realizing that the experience enhanced her game and gave her the tools needed to begin her journey as a playing and teaching professional. She is now celebrating 20 years of teaching.
